How do I install a font?
- Right click the .ttf file and select "Copy"
- Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts, right click and select "Paste"
- The font is now installed, confirmation should be displayed on the screen.
You will be able to use the font in any application, word, photoshop, etc
Do I need to restart?
- You need to restart any applications which you want to use the font in, (if the program was open before installing the font).
- Restarting the computer is not required.
How do I put the fonts on my website?
- Fonts are rendered by the client not by the server,
- Fonts will only display correctly for people that have that font installed on there local computer.
- The only way you could allow users to see a non-standard font which they dont have installed is to make an image.
What is the license? Can I use a font for commerical purposes?
- All the fonts on maxfonts.com are made by third party authors.
- TIP: The notes provided with the download sometimes contain license information.
- In some cases the authors website url/email is provided, so you can contact them directly.
- Maxfonts has access to only the same information you can view on this site.
- Maxfonts does not have a special list containing everyones licenses, you will need to contact the author directly.
